It is an ever increasing problem and it is imperative to keep your site up to date with the latest security patches. When a client hosts with us, we make sure their Joomla is up to date with the latest versions, as the security patches become available and install software that will alleviate most forms of attack. Most companies do not inform the clients about this, but we feel it our duty as a responsible company to inform our clients of this possibility when the using any dynamic web site.
